is for you.
At Kingdom Leadership we
believe you are royalty, but princes and princesses need grooming and
training before they take their places in the Kingdom. This
school is like an Officer Candidate School Boot Camp for Christian
young people. No matter what mountain you feel called to take or
what realm of society you want to influence, upon leaving Kingdom
Leadership, you will be equipped with the personal tools and skills you
need to take your next step successfully.
Purpose
How many times
have you heard an older
person say, “If only I had followed my dreams” or “I've wasted so many
years doing something I hate”. Kingdom Leadership will help
young people discover their identities, identify their passions, and
overcome personal constraints to help them determine the path they
should follow so that they won't have those regrets. Why should
anyone wait until their 40's, 50's, or 60's to discover God's plan for
their lives? Instead, students aged 18 - 25 can begin to discover
their
destinies early in life in order to accomplish all that God has for
them.
We
believe that the
next generation of leaders must be trained to move into their areas of
influence. In many cases, young people have the enthusiasm and
the call but don't have the essential skills for success. Kingdom
Leadership will take young leaders and give them the skills that
everyone needs to become a peak performer.
Instruction
and
coaching will be provided in areas such as communication, conflict
resolution, team building, and other interpersonal skills.
Students will also learn who they are, the signature strengths that
make them unique, and how to discover their destinies. Personal
coaching sessions will be tailored to each student and will continue
for several months after graduation.
In
addition, students
will learn valuable life skills including cooking, financial basics,
maintenance, and more. Each student will work with a team to
develop and implement events, which provides hands-on learning that
can't be gained just anywhere.
Mission and Beliefs
Kingdom
Leadership Institute is a ministry of The
Gospel, Inc. in Ruston, LA. The Gospel was established in 1979 by
Pastors Robert and Margaret Daulton. The mission was and remains
the directive given in Isaiah 61:1-3.
“The
Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
He hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of
the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of
the Lord, and the day of
vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them
that
mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit
of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the
planting
of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” (KJV)
Kingdom
Leadership
Institute uses this scripture as the basis for what we teach. No
matter the area of marketplace ministry one feels called into, the
principles put forth in Isaiah 61 apply. It is our desire to see
young leaders established as trees of righteousness, with deep roots
and a full range of skills, so that they in turn can proclaim liberty
to the captives. In order to fulfill this scripture, students
will learn to move effectively in healing, deliverance, and the
prophetic, as well as learning counseling and coaching skills.
Kingdom
Leadership
Institute is for those who want to to live fully in God's Kingdom and
teach others to do the same. Students should be solidly grounded
in the Word of God and in their personal faith.
It is not for those trying to overcome addictions, mental problems, or
emotional disorders. Attendees should be mature and stable
Christians.

Additional
Information
Separate dorm-style sleeping
facilities are provided for men and
women. At this time we will not accept married couples as our
sleeping arrangements do not allow for that.
Classroom sessions are held throughout the day on each weekday.
Weekends are loosely structured, although some seminars may be held on
the weekends because of guest speaker availability.
Laptop computers are encouraged but are not required. Many
evaluations will be in written form, and a personal computer is
helpful. However, students should be prepared to sign an internet
usage agreement.
All
students are expected to assist in facility maintenance and general
housekeeping duties to keep the facility pleasant for everyone.
