Josh Milliron: Favor International

About Josh Milliron
After 24 years, I took early retirement from pastoral ministry, and now with Favor International,
I am following my passion for prayer ministry and making disciples of all nations. My wife Allison and I have been married for 25 years, and together we have two young adult children. In education I have my Bachelor of Arts from Centenary College of Louisiana in Business, Speech, and Religion and my Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. I continued my education by completing a five year certification program called Advancing Pastoral Leadership. In my faith, I am a lifelong student of scripture, a worshiper, and a servant of the Lord. I believe in BIG mercy and grace that can forgive, heal, and restore human life. I believe things happen when we pray that don’t happen when we don’t pray, and I have an unwavering commitment to hope. Hope has the last word. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, writing, traveling, sampling locally famous cuisine, and sharing table fellowship with friends, old and new. I am a fan of football, basketball, and baseball (if it is at a ballpark). I enjoy the power of a good story told on the screen or on the stage. I love science fiction, and I appreciate a wide variety of art and music. It is a joy to serve as a Regional Development Director with Favor International, and I look forward to getting to know you.

About Favor International
Favor International is a parachurch, missionary organization serving unreached people groups in the 10/40 window in Africa, and our US headquarters is near Tampa, FL. Favor is a prayer movement that has become a missionary movement. We currently have 1,200 trained, indigenous missionaries who are bringing the Gospel to around 100 language groups in 11 nations in central and northeast Africa. In the last two and a half years we have celebrated 213,716 new believers in Jesus Christ! Most of these born again believers were Muslims or members of tribal groups who practiced witchcraft and had never heard the name of Jesus. These new believers are discipled through Portable Bible Schools that set up camp in villages across Africa. In addition to the discipleship ministries are numerous additional ministries including church planting, Bible distribution, trauma healing, medical care, water wells, education, economic development, Christian radio, and rescuing ministries with street children, orphans, and those who were trafficked. This 7 minute YouTube video provides an introduction to Favor International.
